Sunglass Heaven

Coutorture Must Read for 5/16

Thanks a Million Coutorture!

There are several styles of sunglasses that are on the market right now that I'm really lovin'. However, I enjoy buying those shades that are classics such as the aviator, Jackie-O (glamour shades), or the square-rimmed frames. I honestly believe putting on a pair of shades just really changes a person's swagger. It's like.... instant diva mode (at least that's the way I feel). I've searched to find a couple of sunglasses that represent the above classics. I need to add a pair or two for my summer excursions. I suggest you invest in a good quality pair, it is sooo worth it.

1. The Aviator

Aviator sunglasses burst onto the military scene in the 1930’s as a way to protect the eyes of pilots from the sun. Classic aviators have a dark metal frame with reflective lenses but modern pairs are seen in all kind of colors and shapes. Heart shaped faces look great in aviators.

2. Jackie-O (Glamour)

These classic, oversized oval shades were inspired by Jackie Onasis Kennedy. This style is synonymous with celebutants due to their fashionability. Instant glamour! Divas with round shaped faces should never wear round shaped frames. The goal is to minimize face fullness. Ohhh side note....if you have a small head (think about the Olsen twins) please understand that oversized glasses can make you look a little weeble wobble. Just a thought to keep to the forefront when you're out shopping.

3. Square Frame Shades

This is a style that will never get old or played out. It works well for most face shapes but if you have a square or diamond shaped face...try to stay away from the square frames. This style is great for my chicas with oblong and oval shaped faces.

Wow! I'm seriously thinking about purchasing the Prada shades. It's something that gets old or anything. I could have them for a long time.
